Lifebuoy Nepal – Influencer Marketing to leverage confinement to inspire positive community habits

Goal

Amidst the pandemic and the nearing World Hygiene Day (2020), Lifebuoy aimed to highlight the importance of hygienic habits through popular and influential role models, not to mention its extensive user base. 

Strategy

  1. Health and crisis initiatives during the lockdown
    Since lockdown opening plans were not considered under revision, adjusting to the new normal and following healthy habits was important.

  2. Powerful influencers remind people about hygiene.
    Engaged powerful influencers to remind consumers about the importance of hygiene, reinforcing positive brand perception, especially during the global pandemic.

  3. Show solidarity and adjust product features.
    We enabled influencers to show solidarity by promoting essential hygiene techniques, even those previously overlooked.
